GDPR and cookie usage
Cookie information and privacy choices
This page explains how Autorenwerkzeug uses cookies and similar browser storage. It is intended as transparent technical information for users and as a working basis for GDPR and ePrivacy compliance.
Consent model
The banner offers two direct choices: accept all cookies or use strictly necessary cookies only. Non-essential cookies are not enabled by default. Continuing to browse, scrolling, or ignoring the banner is not treated as consent.
Your choice is stored in a first-party consent cookie named aw_cookie_consent and mirrored in local browser storage. This record contains the selected category, a timestamp, and the consent version so the current preference can be respected on future visits.
Cookie categories
Your controls
Use the Cookie settings button on the site to reopen the banner. You can also clear cookies and local site data in your browser to remove stored preferences. If optional analytics or marketing tools are added later, they should check the stored consent level before loading.
Guideline orientation
This implementation follows common regulator guidance: provide clear and comprehensive information, require an active choice for optional cookies, keep strictly necessary cookies separate, and make preferences easy to change.
